Galerie City by Night (CbN for short) was founded in early 2010 by Peter A. Mankowski, part of the Berlin-based art collective “42live”, as a way to exhibit collaborative projects as well as showcase up and coming visual artists. Since then the collective seized to exists and now the gallery is curated by a number of individuals, headed by Mankowski. The intent is to do regular visual art exhibitions, including video and multi-media in various flavors.

CbN is run like a real life physical gallery and one of the ultimate future goals is to present some of these events also as physical happenings at galleries and art spaces, in the key cities where CbN collaborates on projects. CbN has at this point no affiliation to other organizations except for on a mutual collaboration basis. We are however open to suggestions regarding partnership and collaboration on various projects.

We are open to any form of visual art including film, video, paintings, photography, flash, java, actually you name it and if it works on screen then we want to try. Feel free to contact CbN if you would like to exhibit here or have suggestions for artists you know.
